Job Title: Art Director of Social Content

About the Role:

The Art Director of Social Content will work closely with the Creative Director to develop social-first concepts, guide the look and feel for all channels, and maintain brand values and product offerings of ALO Yoga. This role involves developing social-first content for seasonal campaigns, style guides, e-commerce stories, and messaging, as well as episodic brand content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creative Conceptualization: Develop initial creative concepts for seasonal collections or color capsules/drops, working closely with the Creative Director and other team members.
  • Briefing and Look Development: Craft detailed briefs outlining the vision for each project and contribute to the creation of social concepts that align with the brand's aesthetic while pushing creative boundaries.
  • Shoot Production: Oversee the production process from start to finish, managing logistics, directing talent, and ensuring the final output meets quality and creativity standards.
  • Social-First Approach: Develop concepts tailored specifically for social media platforms, focusing on creating content that resonates with online audiences and maintains brand consistency across all channels.
  • Seasonal Campaigns: Lead the development of social-first content for seasonal campaigns, leveraging creativity to capture the essence of each collection and engage the target audience effectively.
  • Episodic Content and E-commerce Storytelling: Spearhead the creation of episodic content, such as the 'Outbreak the Ice' series, and create immersive experiences that drive engagement and sales.

Requirements:

  • Strong creative vision and passion for storytelling
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • 2+ years experience with social media content creation and strategy in-house for a brand
  • Experience managing and running shoots on-set
  • Knowledge of current trends in fashion, lifestyle, and digital marketing
