The Registered Nurse works under the supervision of the Director and is responsible for providing nursing care for acutely ill patients. This role requires the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate nursing care according to ORCH policy/procedure and regulatory expectations from the Joint Commission and Center for Medicare/Medicaid.

  • Requirements include:
    • A graduate degree from an accredited program of Registered Nursing
    • Current Iowa Registered Nurse License
    • Current BCLS verification
    • Medical-Surgical Certification preferred but not required
