Position Overview

Halifax Health is currently in search of a dedicated LPN for our Home Health Care division - Care at Home.

Role Summary


The Practical Nursing Specialist will deliver direct patient care to designated individuals under the guidance and oversight of a Registered Nurse.

Key responsibilities encompass executing specific procedures, administering medications, and performing treatments that necessitate a thorough understanding and technical proficiency in alignment with Halifax Health's standards for job-related education and experience.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a current license or be eligible for LPN licensure in the State of Florida.
  • Completion of an accredited School of Nursing in a program for Licensed Practical Nurses.
  • A minimum of one year’s experience in Med-surg or a comparable acute care setting is required.
  • Exemplary professionalism in communication skills with patients, their families, colleagues, physicians, and ancillary department staff.
  • Additional certification is mandatory for IV responsibilities.
