We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team at UCHealth Greeley Hospital. As a Medical Laboratory Scientist, you will be responsible for performing laboratory testing of patient specimens in one or more sections of the laboratory.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic/analytic testing of specimens.
- Interpret, document, and report test results.
- Perform quality control testing, instrument maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Comply with good laboratory practice and regulatory requirements.
- Perform projects as assigned and serve as a resource to laboratory staff and other clinical staff as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and graduate of an accredited Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist program.
- Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) by the American Medical Technologists (AMT) or as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or categorical ASCP certification in a laboratory specialty/sub-specialty as applicable to job responsibilities.
