About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Business Analyst to join our team at Skyworks Solutions. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and improvement through data-driven insights and strategic decision-making.

This is a challenging and exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual with a strong background in the semiconductor industry. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT and data science, to develop and implement advanced analytical tools and strategies that drive business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with IT and data science teams to enhance Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools and ensure high data integrity standards.
  • Define and drive the implementation of robust methods for collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets to extract meaningful insights.
  • Review and update the Bill of Materials (BOM) for new products to ensure accuracy and consistency across various systems.
  • Utilize data automation techniques to analyze product cost trends and identify cost-saving measures to improve gross margin.
  • Effectively present data findings and strategic insights to stakeholders clearly and concisely.
  • Define and oversee the implementation of statistical and machine learning models to uncover patterns, trends, and predictions within data sets.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, statistics, mathematics, business, or a related field.
  • 8 or more years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge and/or proficiency in P&L management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with data analysis and modeling tools such as Microsoft SQL.
  • MBA or Finance background.
  • Excel programming experience.
