Nursing Unit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nursing Unit Manager to join our team at ArchCare. As a key member of our nursing department, you will be responsible for coordinating the care of our residents, communicating with families, and ensuring the highest level of quality care.
Responsibilities- Coordinate the care of residents through collaboration with other departments
- Communicate with families regarding the resident's plan of care and any changes in the condition of the resident
- Evaluate rotation of staff and adjust section assignments as needed
- Promote positive public relations for the nursing unit and department
- Responsible for conducting monthly meetings and educating staff on new policies relating to the nursing department
- Oversee the implementation of new policies and procedures and periodically review current procedures, working in collaboration with the Director of Staff Development as needed
- Current NYS Registered Nurse License
- High School Diploma/GED
- BSN
