Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Checkout Associate to join our team at Lowe's. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and safe shopping environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, responding to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Checkout Operations: Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and returns.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure that merchandise is accurately scanned and stocked, and that the sales floor is well-organized and visually appealing.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe shopping environment, including the checkout area, sales floor, and stockroom.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other sales floor associates to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • Less than 1 year of experience: Preferred.
  • Ability to stand and navigate throughout the checkout areas for extended periods: Required.
  • Ability to actively move throughout a fast-paced self-checkout area: Required.
