Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at All Medical Personnel. As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Specimen Acceptance and Testing: Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria.
  • Instrumentation and Quality Control: Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality, and perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures.
  • Technical Decision Making: Demonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving.
  • Reagent and Control Preparation: Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls.
  • Test Result Reporting: Report accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient care.
  • Supply Management: Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary.
  • Specimen Processing: Assist with processing of specimens when needed.
  • Safe Work Environment: Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or meet local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements.
  • Experience: Minimum 0-2 years of clinical laboratory testing experience is required for Technologist level.
  • Skills: Ability to work independently and within a team environment, proficient with computers, and familiarity with laboratory information systems.
  • Personal Qualities: High level of attention detail, strong communication and organizational skills, and ability to pass a standardized color vision screen.
