Job Summary

Bishop Montgomery High School is seeking a qualified English teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a comprehensive English curriculum program for students in grades 9-12.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement the high school English curriculum through delivery of classroom instruction
  • Participate in the intervention process for students in need
  • Plan appropriate lessons and pursue continuous professional growth
  • Attend all required meetings and in-service days

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in English or related field
  • English teaching credential required
  • At least three years of teaching experience in English
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to establish effective working relationships
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and complete by due dates
  • Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with teenagers and their parents
