Job Title: Staff Pharmacist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the accuracy and safety of prescription dispensing, and promoting a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and accurately dispense prescription orders, ensuring timely and efficient service to patients.
  • Counsel patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and health-related issues, providing personalized guidance and support.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to ensure seamless patient care and coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest pharmacy practices, medications, and technologies.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current pharmacy license in good standing.
  • Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations and healthcare teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
