About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Avera. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing basic and complex in vivo and in vitro nuclear medicine procedures for inpatients, outpatients, and mobile outreach patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including imaging and therapy, for patients with various medical conditions.
  • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information.
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort during nuclear medicine procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist required.
  • Iowa Permit to Practice license required within 60 days of employment.
  • Class B Commercial Driver's License required within 6 months of employment.
  • Successful completion of a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screening is required.
