Position Overview:

The role of Specialist - Data Engineering entails a comprehensive understanding of relational database principles and a strong proficiency in SQL analytics. The ideal candidate will possess a solid grasp of data modeling concepts and performance enhancement techniques, alongside practical experience in database architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and resolve data quality issues, identifying root causes.
  • Develop and manage database objects, including stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, views, and materialized views.
  • Implement indexing and partitioning strategies to improve query performance.
  • Execute advanced PL/SQL bulk operations and utilize SQL Loader effectively.
  • Review Oracle Database AWR and ADDM reports to troubleshoot performance challenges.
  • Support the execution and analysis of integration, user acceptance, and performance testing.
  • Conduct thorough reviews and analyses of test case results to ensure compliance with documented requirements.
  • Utilize tools such as Jira and Bitbucket, with exposure to DevOps practices for CI/CD pipelines and RLM processes.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team, showcasing strong verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications:

Certification as an Oracle Advanced PL/SQL Developer Certified Professional is preferred.
