Patient Tray Assembler

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Patient Tray Assembler to join our team at Augusta Health in Fishersville, Virginia.

The Patient Tray Assembler will be responsible for assembling prepared food on trays for patients with regular and modified diets. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
• Assemble patient trays with prepared food according to dietary specifications
• Deliver tray carts to patient areas as specified
• Tend to the dishwasher and ensure it is functioning properly
• Dispose of trash and garbage as needed
• Deliver clean dishes and utensils to kitchen areas
• Assist in preparing items such as salads, desserts, or nourishment
• Tend to the call center for patient meal ordering
• Deliver meals to off-site locations

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in food service or a related field preferred
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
