About the Role

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) at Encompass Health, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team that provides exceptional care to patients recovering from stroke, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, joint replacements, multiple trauma, and cardiac/pulmonary conditions.

What You'll Do
  • Perform a wide range of nursing tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse.
  • Provide direct care to patients, carry out their plans of care, and observe their behavior, vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
  • Work with patients to help them achieve their goals and regain independence.
Your Qualifications
  • Current LPN/LVN licensure in accordance with state regulations.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • One or more years of experience in an inpatient medical-surgical or general hospital setting.
  • Rehabilitation experience is preferred.
