Key Responsibilities:
  • Support project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Develop and maintain physical substation designs, including yard layouts, plans, sections, and details, as well as grounding and lightning protection systems.
  • Design and implement protection and control systems, including panel arrangements, one-line diagrams, and AC/DC schematics.
  • Prepare calculations and reports for studies, such as grounding and lightning protection, AC/DC load studies, and equipment specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Civil/Structural, Networks, and Transmission Line departments, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Effectively communicate project activities and progress to management, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers and designers, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard Power Market Sector design software, such as PLS CAD, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, AutoPipe, and Revit.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with a commitment to our employee-owned culture.
