About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Arborist Ground Person. As a key member of our horticulture team, you will play a vital role in the care and maintenance of our research arboretum and botanical garden.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planting and aftercare of trees and shrubs
  • Record and maintain accurate records of plant health and maintenance
  • Assist in irrigation and fertilization tasks
  • Contribute to nursery management and plant health care
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest horticulture practices and safety protocols
Requirements
  • Prior experience in tree care, landscaping, forestry, or horticulture is preferred but not required
  • A valid driver's license is required
  • A degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Landscape Management, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred but not required
