Senior Clinical Therapist Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Therapist Specialist to join our team at Promises Behavioral Health, LLC. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing individual, group, and family therapy, as well as crisis intervention services, psychoeducation presentations, and experiential learning groups to clients and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive clinical services including individual, group, and family therapy, crisis intervention, primary process groups, psychoeducation presentations, and experiential learning groups.
- Oversight of residential facilities to ensure high-quality care and services.
- Provide clinical consultation to clients, families, and referents upon request.
- Develop and implement psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and clinical discharge summaries.
- Collaborate with the clinical case manager and family therapist to provide comprehensive client care.
Requirements:
- Masters or Ph.D. in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field required.
- LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent clinical licensure required.
- Three (3) years of experience in social work or a related field.
- Experience working with addictions and mental health populations.
- Knowledge of various interventions, including DBT, CBT, Family Systems, and ability to conceptualize modalities and placement criteria within the continuum of care.
- Understanding of diverse cultures and gender-specific issues, with ability to incorporate needs of diverse groups into practice setting.
- Excellent organizational skills, including prioritization and independent work.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- CPR/First Aid Certification required; certification must be obtained within state-mandated timeframe after hire.
