As a key member of the Wingstop team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food that meets our standards of taste and consistency.
This role is critical to our success, ensuring we maintain compliance with company policies and procedures, including food safety and sanitation protocols.
You will be expected to maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events, setting a positive example for your shift team.
Additionally, you will manage multiple projects and timelines with a sense of urgency and follow through.
Food Handler Certification is required, and you must be available to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, late nights, and holidays.
You will be responsible for following company safety and sanitation policies and procedures, properly learning and executing all cooking and saucing guidelines to ensure the highest quality food is prepared and packaged according to guidelines.
Ensure the proper amount and proportion of food is prepared per order to prevent food waste.
Assist in keeping the kitchen clean throughout the shift, maintaining clean as you go and consistently following closing sanitation procedures.
Partner with the Manager on Duty on all safety, sanitation, or team member issues.
Anticipate guest and restaurant needs by constantly evaluating the environment and guests for cues.
Contribute to a positive team environment by working collaboratively with other team members, including training new cooks, and partnering with the General Manager on concerns.
Know and thoroughly understand the importance of good hygiene and food handling practices.
Cook and restaurant experience is a plus.

Pay Range: $20 - $21 per hour
