Job Description

As a Retail Personal Banker Associate II, your main objective will be to sell a full range of banking products and services to meet existing and prospective customers' needs while providing specialized care and service. You will utilize the prescribed tools and interact with staff for referral activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build a thorough customer profile using the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend suitable options.
  • Use CAMP and other approved marketing tools to proactively reach out to customers and schedule appointments for periodic financial reviews.
  • Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities as directed.
  • Establish close working relationships with assigned Business Partners and refer customers when necessary.
  • Meet/exceed customer experience and individual/team production goals while enhancing year-over-year revenue growth.

Requirements

  • A college degree or equivalent work experience providing transferable skills.
  • Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop a comfort level with sales activities designed to acquire new customers and cross-sell to existing ones.
  • Able to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for credit and financial analysis.
  • Professionally represent Fifth Third Bank in terms of appearance and verbal/written communication.
