We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at LHC Group in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. As a Home Health Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in helping patients achieve their full physical potential.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in their homes, focusing on restoring their physical ability
  • Follow established plans of care and state-specific laws governing home health care
  • Instruct and aid patients in evidence-based treatment within your scope as an occupational therapy assistant
  • Observe, record, and report patient progress to the supervising OT, nurse supervisor, and physician
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare team members as necessary

Requirements

  • Curren OTA licensure in the state
  • CPR certification
  • Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation

Salary Information

The salary for this position is commensurate with experience, but we estimate around $55,000 - $65,000 per year based on national averages and industry standards. Please note that salaries may vary based on individual qualifications and negotiations.
