About the Job

We are a leading aerospace company seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Burbank. As a Welder, you will be responsible for verifying welds, performing rework and repair operations, and operating various equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify welds using magnifiers, dial calipers, pin micrometers, and tube micrometers.
  • Be qualified to AWS D 17.1 and QOP standards.
  • Produce x-ray quality welds.
  • Perform rework, repair, and other associated operations.
  • Operate welding equipment and perform welding duties.
  • Weld fittings on tubing, ducts, tanks, and other similar units.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree or 1+ years of related experience and/or training.
  • Submit weld samples from a minimum of three different material groups (Group Ia, IIIb, VI) for visual, radiographic, and metallographic acceptance.
  • Pass a physical visual eye examination.
  • Operate automatic and semi-automatic weld machines.
  • Work with ferrous and non-ferrous metals and their alloys.
  • Hold certifications required for the task, with records maintained for validation of extended validity.
