Job Summary

As a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist at Kaiser Permanente, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality diagnostic images that aid physicians in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions. Under indirect supervision, you will utilize advanced MRI equipment to capture detailed images of the human anatomy and vasculature.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images
  • Perform basic and advanced imaging protocols to maximize image quality
  • Utilize technical parameters and hardware to optimize image acquisition
  • Collaborate with physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
  • Maintain equipment, supplies, and work areas in accordance with department guidelines
Requirements
  • Two years of clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an acute care medical center
  • Successful completion of an accredited educational program in radiological technology
  • Radiologic Technologist Certificate (California) and Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Basic Life Support certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years of clinical experience as an MRI Technologist in an acute care medical center
  • Experience with GE MRI systems and Advantage Windows workstation
  • Advanced Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging issued by the ARRT
