We are seeking a skilled Diesel Fleet Mechanic Specialist to join our team at US Foods, Inc. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing diesel equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key Tasks
  • Troubleshoot and repair diesel equipment, including tractors, trailers, bobtails, reefers, lift gates, etc.
  • Perform preventative maintenance according to company standards.
  • Document all repair orders, PM lists, and parts accountability.
  • Handle road service calls and transport equipment as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
  • (3) years of verifiable hands-on experience as a heavy duty commercial diesel mechanic or reefer mechanic or a combination of both.
  • Diagnostic and troubleshooting competency.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Prior experience in administering PM programs.
  • Personal hand tools required.
