Orlando Health is seeking a skilled Ambulatory Care Nurse to join our team. As a top cancer care provider in Florida, we offer a comprehensive and multidisciplinary cancer program with six treatment sites and over 10 practice locations.
Key Responsibilities- Administer patient care in an ambulatory setting, promoting wellness, restoring health, and addressing health-related situational problems.
- Assess patients' needs and develop individualized plans of care, applying current ambulatory care nursing knowledge and evidence-based practice.
- Prescribe, delegate, coordinate, and document patient care, including patient assessment, education, medication administration, treatments, and patient safety.
- Prioritize patient care in accordance with Evidence-Based Practice Standards of Care.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and maintain a safe and caring environment for patients and families.
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Maintains current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
