Key Responsibilities- Directly supervise Nursing program tutoring sessions while adhering to College policies and Departmental procedures.
- Engage with nursing program students to coach and support them, primarily in group tutoring sessions.
- Track and draft tutor session notes for submission to the College.
- Recognize and respond appropriately to the learning needs of a diverse student population.
- Respond to student requests for overall nursing program learning assistance on an as-needed basis.
- Assist in the development of educational action plans.
- Assist with individual and/or small group tutoring sessions.
- Work with and/or demonstrate various types of audio-visual materials, computer applications, and other materials or delivery systems used in an instructional program.
- Assist in the retention of program students.
- Consult with faculty as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Completion of a state board of nursing-approved professional nursing education program.
- Current active unencumbered licensure as a registered nurse in Ohio.
- Minimum of two years of experience in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse.
- Specialty practice experience is required for some positions, including but not limited to obstetrics, pediatrics, and psychiatric/behavioral health.

The work is performed in a normal, professional office environment. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated. The employee may sit comfortably to perform the duties of the job and will perform repetitive motions with hands/fingers using a computer mouse and keyboard to type. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, pamphlets, books, etc.
