Job DescriptionAs a Radiation Therapist, you will play a vital role in the treatment of cancer patients using radiation therapy. Working closely with radiation oncologists and the cancer care team, you will use medical imaging, operate radiation equipment, deliver treatments, and provide education to patients and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver radiation therapy treatments to patients with cancer
- Use medical imaging to plan and deliver treatments
- Operate radiation equipment to ensure accurate and safe treatment delivery
- Provide education to patients and families on radiation therapy and treatment options
- Collaborate with the cancer care team to ensure comprehensive patient care
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 1 year of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist
- ARRT Certification
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Current state license (if applicable)
