Soccer Coach

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Soccer Coach to join our team at Brevard Public Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for coaching the middle school soccer team, developing and implementing training programs, and ensuring the overall success of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coaching the middle school soccer team
• Developing and implementing training programs
• Recruiting and managing team members
• Maintaining a safe and positive team environment
• Communicating with parents and school administration

Requirements:

1. BA/BS degree from a regionally accredited program/university in FLDOE certificate subject area (preferred)
2. Florida Instructional Certification (any subject) or Florida Athletic Coaching Certification (Professional 5 Year or Temporary 3 Year)
3. Two (2) years documented sport-specific and age-level coaching experience
4. Extensive knowledge of the sport at the competition level
5. Demonstrated leadership skills and the management of large groups of students/athletes

Preferred Qualifications:

• Three (3) to five (5) years documented sport-specific and grade-level coaching experience
• College-level coaching may substitute for high school coaching experience

Estimated Salary:$45,000-$60,000 per year
