Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist with Therapy 2000, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and make a meaningful difference in their lives.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations to determine patients' needs for therapy.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with physicians' orders.
- Collaborate with patients' caregivers to develop home exercise programs.
- Act as a vital member of patients' medical teams, coordinating care with various providers and disciplines.
- Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, and other paperwork as needed.
- Participate in regular meetings with agency personnel to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.
- A current/active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Texas.
- An innovative spirit complemented by a demonstrated history of reliability.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and needs of the business.
- Ability to use common workplace technology.
- 3+ years of experience as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist.
- Experience in a home-health setting.
- Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
