We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Telemetry team at Centerpoint Medical Center. As a Cardiac Telemetry Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to patients with cardiac conditions.
Responsibilities- Assess patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 1 year of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse licensure.
- Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
