**Job Overview:** Material Handling and Shipping Expert

**Estimated Salary:** $55,000 - $70,000 per year

The Material Handling and Shipping Expert will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. This individual will be responsible for coordinating with management to achieve departmental goals, executing daily shipments, and performing required daily inspections of powered equipment.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with management to ensure departmental goals are met.
  • Execute daily shipments, including picking, packing, and auditing all sales orders.
  • Ensure all shipments are completed daily, including loading of outbound shipments, receiving, and material handling functions.
  • Support internal flow of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Perform required daily inspections of powered equipment.
  • Apply First-In-First-Out method to all orders.
  • Communicate any discrepancies to the supervisor.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Additional duties as assigned by Management.

**Requirements:**

  • A high school diploma/GED is preferred.
  • Previous experience in warehouse operations, handheld scanning equipment, domestic LTL and TL shipping, export shipping requirements, and basic inventory skills is preferred.
  • Must be goal-oriented with a high degree of enthusiasm and focused on enhancing process quality.
  • Must be familiar with Forklifts and Reach truck operations.
  • Handheld barcode scanning equipment, MS Word, Excel, and Personal Computer operation on a beginner level.
