Position Summary:
As a Process Optimization Engineer, you will be pivotal in enhancing operational efficiency, quality, and productivity across our organization. Your role will involve collaborating with diverse teams to pinpoint process inefficiencies, implement enhancements, and foster sustainable improvements. Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate current processes, workflows, and systems to identify improvement opportunities.
- Formulate and execute process optimization strategies aimed at enhancing efficiency, minimizing waste, and boosting overall performance.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to spearhead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate process mapping, root cause analysis, and value stream mapping activities.
- Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to streamline operations.
- Design and conduct experiments to validate process modifications.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and assess progress against improvement objectives.
- Educate and mentor team members on process improvement methodologies.
- Engage in cross-functional project teams to promote organizational excellence.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement, ideally within manufacturing or production settings.
- Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with process simulation tools and statistical analysis software.
- Ability to lead change initiatives and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Willingness to travel to manufacturing sites as required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening.
