Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Administer student assessments and assist in setting educational and vocational goals for all assigned learners.
  • Maintain accurate daily attendance records and document student absences diligently.
  • Develop and submit all required learning documentation and course syllabi to the program director for the courses assigned.
  • Stay updated with current course materials, teaching aids, and methodologies, revising course content and instructional techniques to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
  • Prepare and submit all necessary student-related forms, including evaluations and attendance rosters, in accordance with established timelines.
  • Complete and submit all staff-related documentation, such as teaching contracts and professional development forms, as per directed timelines.
  • Promptly inform the program director of any support services required by students, ensuring confidentiality in all discussions regarding students and college matters.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of and comply with the College's mission, procedures, and regulations, keeping the program director informed of instructional activities and any issues that arise.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and core values while executing responsibilities.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with individuals at all levels within the college environment.

Physical Demands, Working Conditions, and Physical Effort

This position primarily involves sedentary work, requiring the exertion of up to 10 pounds of force occasionally. It involves sitting for extended periods, with occasional walking and standing. Typical tasks include talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, and repetitive motions. The work environment is generally free from unpleasant conditions or hazards.

Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution is mandatory, with a Master's degree preferred. Proven experience in the relevant industry, along with demonstrated training and/or teaching experience, is essential.
