The Department of Philosophy at Oakland University is seeking applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor role, focusing on the socially relevant aspects of the philosophy of science.

Competency Areas:
AI Ethics. We are particularly interested in candidates who are prepared to teach courses such as 'Introduction to Ethics in Science and Engineering'. Additional teaching interests in the history of philosophy are welcomed. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to diversity and inclusion in their teaching and research practices.
Required Qualifications
A PhD in Philosophy is required by the time of appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor.
