Job Title: Tracheostomy/Ventilator LPN

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in providing high-quality care to patients with tracheostomy and ventilator needs.

About the Role:
  • Provide skilled nursing care to patients with tracheostomy and ventilator needs, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Assess patient condition and care needs, and report changes to the supervisor and/or physician as appropriate.
  • Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care in a timely manner.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of the nursing care plan.
  • Take appropriate nursing action based on assessment and achieve expected outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Six (6) months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting.
  • Home health experience.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.
  • Must be able to travel.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to sufficiently reposition patients and move equipment without assistance.
Work Environment:
  • Must be able to function in a wide variety of environments which may involve exposure to allergens and other various conditions.
  • Possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases.
