Your Role:

As a Sales Associate at Target Optical, you will play a critical role in delivering an outstanding optical experience for our guests. You will be responsible for working closely with customers to understand their needs and preferences, making recommendations, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong relationships with customers to drive sales and achieve company objectives.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by listening to customer needs, answering questions, and making recommendations.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other payment methods.
  • Maintain store appearance and ensure that displays and inventory are clean, attractive, and organized.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years of experience in retail or customer service.
  • Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, and calculators.
  • Basic phone and math skills.
  • Ability to sell through sales skills and accountability for sales results.
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written).
  • Self-motivation and ability to multi-task.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this role is $45,000 - $60,000, depending on location and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer health care benefits, retirement savings plan, paid time off/vacation, employee discounts, and opportunities for advancement.
