At Rick Erwins Dining Group, we are seeking a dedicated and passionate Expert Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a friendly demeanor, a strong commitment to their craft, and an eagerness to contribute to a collaborative kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize the workstation in accordance with the Chef's specifications.
- Adhere to recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards as directed by the Chef.
- Ensure the kitchen is well-stocked by replenishing supplies throughout the shift.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly workspace.
- Utilize and care for all kitchen equipment appropriately.
- Assist in the thorough cleaning and organization of kitchen areas, including refrigeration and storage.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Chef or Sous Chef.
- Comply with health department regulations to uphold a high standard kitchen environment.
- Fundamental knowledge of professional cooking techniques.
- Proficient knife skills.
- Ability to follow recipes independently.
- Understanding of kitchen safety and etiquette.
- Effective communication skills with team members.
