Job DescriptionIn this role, you will contribute to the creation of a healing environment by providing direct patient care, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments and procedures, and documenting treatment as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations. You will work collaboratively with the nursing team to develop individualized Plans of Care and apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
You will be responsible for assessing and evaluating patient needs, ordering diagnostic tests, interpreting results, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. Additionally, you will provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses, administer medications as ordered, and direct and guide ancillary personnel to maintain standards of professional nursing.
This role may require access to sensitive information, and you will be expected to ensure that access is based on a 'need-to-know' principle, using or disclosing only the minimum amount of information necessary to accomplish intended purposes.
