Healthcare Support Associate

As a Healthcare Support Associate at RWJBarnabas Health, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients and their families. We're seeking highly motivated and compassionate individuals to join our team.

Estimated Salary: $42,500 - $54,000 per year

About the Role:

In this dynamic position, you'll be responsible for supporting our Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional patient care. Your duties will include assisting with daily activities, medical procedures, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in assessment of patient needs and communicate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal care outcomes.
  • Participate in staff, patient, and family education to promote health and wellness.
  • Assist with unit Quality Improvement activities to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Effective communication skills and basic math abilities.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
