Job Title: Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery Specialist

Job Summary:

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery Specialist to join our team. As a Labor and Delivery Travel Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to labor and delivery patients, including antepartum and postpartum care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including fetal heart rate and maternal vital signs
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
  • Participate in emergency situations, such as codes and rapid response teams
  • Document patient care and progress in electronic medical records

Requirements:

  • Current RN license in Alabama
  • 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
  • Skilled in labor and delivery care, including fetal monitoring and maternal care
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Completion of AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course
  • Preferred credentials: STABLE, Completion of Spinning Babies or other course focused on physiologic labor management
