We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team at RWJBarnabas Health. As a key member of our Behavioral and Mental Health department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct initial psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
- Provide psycho-education to patients and families, promoting empowerment and autonomy.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive assessments and discharge plans.
- Participate in annual facility and department-specific competency trainings to stay up-to-date on best practices.
- Master's degree in a recognized mental health discipline with appropriate licensure (LCSW, LSW, LPC, or Licensed Psychologist).
- Minimum two years of prior work experience in mental health.
- Certification or successful completion of training within three months of start date.
