Overview

Sherwin-Williams Floorcovering Management & Sales Training Program is an accelerated entry-level position designed to prepare you for a Floorcovering Facility Management or Sales Representative role within 18-24 months. Our promote-from-within philosophy provides opportunities to progress into Floorcovering Operations Manager or Field Technician positions after completing the initial training.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000. In addition to a competitive wage, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. We also provide opportunities for professional growth and development through training programs and mentorship.

Job Description
  • Contact with customers, which may include minors;
  • Access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise, and other items of value; and
  • Responsibilities that involve lifting up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old;
  • Legally authorized to work in the country without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future;
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license;
  • Bachelor's degree by the start of the program;
  • Ability to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry heavy objects;
  • Previous experience working in retail, sales, or customer service is preferred;
  • Leadership roles, supervising others, or leading teams are beneficial;
  • Team-oriented work experience, extracurricular activities, military service, or previous work selling floorcovering products are advantageous;
  • Willingness to relocate for future job opportunities;
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language, particularly Spanish;
