Our services are centered around empowering individuals to live independently, make informed choices, and actively participate in their communities. Role Responsibilities:
The Community Day Support (CDS) program provides individualized support to adults with disabilities. You will engage in various enjoyable activities throughout the community, including swimming, ice skating, biking, gardening, art, music, dance, and cooking.

At times, you will work one-on-one with your client, while at other times, you will collaborate with other CDS participants and staff for group activities. This role involves interacting with a vibrant and diverse group of individuals with unique personalities and interests.

This position is ideal for individuals who are interested in:

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting clients with community access
  • Utilizing public transportation with clients

  • Assisting with wheelchair transfers

Qualifications:

  • Strong belief in choice and empowerment for individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Comfortable providing personal caregiving
  • High level of accountability and reliability
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt and learn
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Work Schedule:
Shifts are scheduled Monday through Friday, during daytime hours between 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM. Staff are required to travel within the designated service areas.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided to all staff and clients, including face masks, gloves, disinfectants, and hand sanitizers.

Compensation: $21.05 per hour
