**Job Summary:**

The Chief Water Operator is a critical role responsible for representing the company in providing high-quality water services to our customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of their assigned facility, ensuring seamless delivery of water services.
  • Assisting with environmental compliance, ensuring our operations meet or exceed regulatory requirements.
  • Managing operator trainings and daily scheduling, ensuring our team is equipped to provide excellent service.
  • Maintaining annual safety audits and inspections, ensuring a safe working environment for our employees.
  • Ensuring staff adherence to company policies and procedures, promoting a culture of excellence.

**Requirements:**

  • Must have Class A Water FDEP Operator Certification.
  • Preferred: Experience with a 2.9 MGD Forced Draft Aeration-Hydrogen Sulfide Removal, Monochloramine/Free Ammonia Treatment Plant Facility, and a distribution system with approximately 33,000 connections.
