Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, a strong understanding of pediatric critical care, and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. As a PICU nurse at our hospital, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of evidence-based practices.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' needs and develop individualized plans of care
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor patients' responses
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the advancement of nursing practice
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Tennessee
- BLS certification required within 14 days of hire
- Minimum 1 year of experience in pediatric critical care or a related field
