Job Overview:

Beverly Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Nutrition Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting healthy outcomes.

About the Role:

This is a Full-Time position with varying shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. You will be responsible for providing medical nutrition therapy and education to patients, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to achieve positive patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Screens and assesses nutritional status of patients and develops individualized nutrition care plans
  • Provides medical nutrition therapy and education following established standards of care and practice guidelines
  • Works collaboratively within an interdisciplinary model to achieve positive patient outcomes
  • Participates in performance improvement initiatives to enhance client/patient services

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
  • One year of previous experience in Clinical Dietetics, preferably
  • Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • Current Massachusetts License
