Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nocturnist Physician to join our team at Chandler Regional Medical Center. As a Nocturnist, you will provide inpatient consults to patients admitted to the hospital, including critically ill floor patients.


Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care for internal medicine conditions, treating diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, heart attacks, and other serious illnesses.
  • Discharge patients from the ER or Clinical Decision Unit as necessary.
  • Teach medical students, residents, and medical staff.
  • Participate in formal and informal staff education and training programs.
  • Communicate with colleagues and other members of the medical staff to promote positive relations.
  • Assist in collecting data for medical quality/performance improvement (QI) program.

Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree and active board certification.
  • Must have or be eligible for Arizona State medical licensure.
  • Completed ACGME residency training with current ABMS board certification.
  • Faculty hospitalist experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals.

Compensation
$130.01 - $172.55 /hour
