Banquet Captain

ASM Global is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Captain to join our team. As a Banquet Captain, you will be responsible for providing exceptional catering services for banquets and events.

• Supervise and coordinate all aspects of banquet events, including setup, execution, and teardown.
• Directly supervise and train banquet and bar staff on guest service standards and professionalism.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure staff uniforms are clean and meet standards.
• Prepare and distribute staff assignments and timelines for event day tasks.
• Maintain accurate records and submit requests for auxiliary needs.
• Ensure compliance with Florida State Health Codes and liquor laws.
• Train and monitor staff on proper food handling techniques.
• Ensure safe and clean work areas.

• Four-year college degree in a related hospitality field preferred.
• At least two years of experience in food and beverage.
• Excellent oral communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
