Custodial Worker 1 performs manual work involving a variety of housekeeping and domestic tasks to assist in the maintenance of buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleans all assigned areas, including restrooms, offices, and common areas.
- Changes trash liners and cleans garbage cans in residents' rooms and other general areas.
- Moves furniture and arranges chairs and tables for meetings or in-services.
- Cleans walls, window sills, bed frames, closet doors, water fountains, toilets, and fixtures.
- Performs routine daily cleaning of occupied residents' rooms and intensive cleaning of unoccupied residents' rooms as assigned.
Requirements
- Generally requires 0 to 3 years of related experience.
- High School diploma is strongly preferred.
- Non-licensed worker.
