Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of Astrophysics products.
  • Test equipment to diagnose malfunctions and return defective parts as needed.
  • Complete all necessary service documentation, including reports and radiation surveys, in a timely and error-free manner.
  • Input and maintain data in service databases, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  • Review customer and machine information prior to arrival, preparing necessary equipment and documentation in advance.
  • Update customers and Astrophysics service headquarters on service call progress and status.
  • Deliver customer packages, including warranty and customer survey information.
  • Ensure an outstanding customer service experience and promote the sale of extended warranty service contracts and repeat x-ray purchases.
  • Provide operator and technical training as required.
  • Document and provide technical phone support, as well as support custom product installations and special projects.

Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics or a related field, or 2-7 years of technical support or field service experience.
  • Experience providing technical and field service support, x-ray system knowledge a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting ability.
  • Ability to consistently travel to various work sites and work independently.
  • Team player with excellent customer service skills and a professional appearance.
  • Fluent in both written and verbal English.
