We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at ChristianaCare's 5B Medical Unit in Newark, DE.
About the Role:This is a full-time night shift position, working 7p-7a, with weekends and holidays per department guidelines.
Unit Overview:The 5B Medical Unit is a 40-bed inpatient acute care unit with telemetry capabilities, providing scheduled and emergent care to adult and geriatric patients.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive work environment.
- DE RN License or Compact RN License.
- BSN or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of hire date.
- At least one year of experience as an RN.
- RN with experience in inpatient acute care is preferred.
- BLS required.
